CODEFLOR SMP drops is a dietary supplement of probiotic live lactic acid bacteria indicated to provide an additional supply of these nutrients in case of deficiency or increased need.

PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECT: probiotics promote the balance of intestinal flora.

The species of lactic ferments present in CodeFlor SMP drops are:

  • The lactic bacterium Lactobacillus reuteri carries out important functions in the human intestine, among which the main ones are those of rebalancing the intestinal bacterial flora, thus returning it to a condition of eubiosis (when the bacterial flora and the organism live in perfect harmony), preventing the development of bacteria pathogens, improve digestive functions and help improve immune defences by stimulating immunoglobulin production and macrophage activity. Specifically, then it is also able to produce a bacteriocin (natural antibiotic) that counteracts the development of pathogenic bacterial strains and makes them more easily eliminated.
  • Saccaromyces boulardii that acts as a temporary saprophytic flora protects the intestinal system keeping it in a state of good functioning. In the intestine, this yeast produces lactic acid and B vitamins and removes harmful yeast strains. Some studies have allowed to highlight the different mechanisms of action that boulardii uses to eradicate pathogens, to inhibit the action of toxins and to restore the absorption capacity of the intestinal mucosa while other clinical studies have also shown which is useful in the prevention and treatment of diarrhea associated with antibiotic therapy.
Proper use

In children and adults it is recommended to take 5 drops once or twice a day, to be poured directly into the mouth or by dispersing the product in a little milk or other suitable lukewarm beverage (< 35 °C).
Shake well before use. Do not freeze.

Keep out of reach of children under three years. Dietary supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not consume after the storage deadline. The expiry date refers to the product in unopened package and properly stored.
Storage conditions: store in a cool (<25 °C) and dry place away from sources of light and heat. After opening the vial, store in fridge at + 4 °C for no more than 15-20 days.
