ACIAMIN tablets is a dietary supplement of Amino acids with L-Carnitine and Chromium indicated to provide an additional supply of these nutrients in case of deficiency or increased need.
Chromium contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.
Components and their characteristics
L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine: are three of the eight essential amino acids and possess the branched chain. They are essential for the composition of muscle tissue, for repairing damaged tissues, for the formation of haemoglobin but also as a source of energy reserve for liver and muscles.
L-Lysine, L-Threonine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Methionine and L-Tryptophan: are the other five essential amino acids for the composition of muscle tissue and proteins in general. L-Lysine also promotes the formation of collagen therefore it intervenes in bone metabolism; L-Threonine is essential for the formation of proteins such as elastin and antibodies but also as a source of energy reserve; L-Phenylalanine is important for the synthesis of many neurotransmitters and furthermore, determining the increase in cholecystokinin, contributes to reducing the sense of hunger; L-Methionine is a sulfur amino acid and has antioxidant activity but is also important for the functioning of the liver and the production of antibodies; L-Tryptophan is the very important precursor of serotonin, therefore it affects mood but also to reduce the sense of hunger.
L-Carnitine: is a substance taken with the diet (present in meats and dairy products) but also synthesized by our body (in the liver and kidneys). Its role in the body is to bind to fatty acids (in the form of acetyl-coA-carnitine) and allow it to pass through cell membranes. For this reason, it is useful to promote growth and development but also to decrease triglycerides and increase the level of HDL cholesterol.
L-Cystine: is the sulfur amino acid with the highest molecular weight and the highest sulfur content. Particularly indicated to promote recovery from surgical operations or in any case tissue lesions and stimulates the activity of white blood cells.
L-Histidine: stimulates the production of red and white blood cells and is transformed into histamine which acts on muscle functions and on the dilation of blood vessels.
L-Tyrosine: has an important role in the function of the adrenal glands, the pituitary (thymus) and the thyroid; intervenes in the synthesis of white and red blood cells and is used in the treatment of anxiety, depression and insomnia. Stimulates the release of growth hormone.
